We have International Accreditations for conducting the ECL Exam at our various centers - India, Pakistan, Gulf region, Tunisia and Egypt

ECL Exam provides standardized assessments for EU member states and applicant countries’ languages. Currently, it examines 15 different languages- Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Bulgarian, Russian, Croatian, Czech, English, French, German, Polish, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak, and Spanish.

The ECL language tests use a four-level structure for evaluating your language command – German Language A2 Level, B1, B2, and C1 level with 4 crucial components -oral, writing, listening, and reading.

As a part of your visa application, you need to be proficient in the German language and must have B1 or B2 certificate. The German language bodies – Goethe, Telc, ÖSD, and ECL have been accepted by ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe).
The visa handbook (Visumhandbuch) is issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Germany and ECL is accepted by all German consulates and embassies globally.

CareLend Germany has partnered with the respective bodies to conduct German Language Exam for Nurses in different countries including Egypt, Morocco, India, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, and the UAE. With ECL Centres international partner offices affiliation, our language tutor significantly helps candidates in achieving a good score improving their language command with personalized assistance.

Components of the ECL Examination

ECL is a standard, reliable, and comparable language examination that stresses the key components like –

01 Speaking

In the speaking section of the exam, students can select their partner based on their comfort level. Here, no student is asked to sit with a random partner. This reduces the level of stress level on the students. The practical side is that the exam tries to avoid the tactics that students use in the other certifications to “show off” at the expense of their random partner. Partners will be able to practice their approach before the actual exam.

02 Writing

In the writing exam, students can enter the exam with a German–German or German-any other language dictionaries. No digital dictionary is allowed. It is similar to an open-book examination. Note that it must be a general dictionary and nothing manually must be written on it. The practical side is that when you are not sure about a word or two while writing an essay, you have the privilege to use a dictionary during an exam.

03 Listening

In the listening section, two parts get repeated twice. Try to answer all the questions after the first listening so you can use the second listening to check or correct your answers. You are free to take notes during your listening test. The practical side: Grammatical mistakes do not count as mistakes if it is understandable and clear.

04 Reading

In the reading section, all answers can be short and to the point. So, read the whole text before completing your task. You don’t have to lift a complete sentence or entire paragraph from the text to answer the question. The practical side is that this section is focusing on comprehension, not your writing skills, so short answers can be accepted to prove that the sections are understood.
